Import a KiCad BOM and export it for JLCPCB
BOM Manager reads the BOM files you already have. Parts are matched to distributor data, so you see prices and stock right away, and the board can go back out in JLCPCB's assembly format.
How it works
Export the BOM from KiCad
In KiCad's schematic editor, export the bill of materials as CSV. If you assemble at JLCPCB, add an “LCSC Part #” field to your symbols so parts are matched exactly.
Drop the file into a board
Open a project, choose the board and drop the file. CSV and Excel files from KiCad, JLCPCB or your own spreadsheets work, as long as they have a header row.
Check the detected columns
Designators, quantity, value, footprint, MPN, manufacturer and supplier part numbers are recognized from common header names. Adjust any column before importing.
Parts are matched and fetched
Rows are matched by supplier part number, then by MPN, reusing parts already in your library. Unknown supplier parts are fetched with their specs, prices and stock. Duplicate designators are flagged.
Export for assembly
Export the board in JLCPCB's format (Comment, Designator, Footprint, LCSC Part #), as a generic CSV with each distributor's part number, or as a purchasing list.
Questions and answers
Which files can I import?
CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files with a header row: KiCad BOM exports, JLCPCB BOMs, and BOMs from other tools or your own spreadsheets.
What if a part can't be matched?
The line is kept with its original value and footprint and marked unresolved. Link it to a part on the board page whenever you like.
Does re-importing overwrite my board?
Only if you choose to replace the board's BOM. Otherwise rows are merged into the existing lines. Either way, a snapshot is saved, so you can see what the import changed.
