Everything BOM Manager does
BOM Manager is a web app for the bills of materials of electronics projects with more than one PCB. It replaces the spreadsheet per board with one shared part library, live distributor data, and a history of every change.
One part library, without duplicates
Every component is stored once per workspace and shared by all boards, with its specifications, datasheet, distributor offers and your stock.
- Finds the same part written differently, and interchangeable resistors and capacitors under different part numbers
- Merges duplicates into one part, with their BOM lines, stock and history
- Imports reuse parts you already have instead of creating copies
Projects with several boards
Each board keeps its own BOM. The project adds them up for a set of boards: how many of each part, what it costs, what's in stock and where each part is used.
- Board counts per set, e.g. 1 main board and 4 sensor boards
- Replace a part on every board of a project at once
- Search any BOM by designator, part number, manufacturer or package
Revisions and change history
A snapshot of each board's BOM is saved on every import, build, new revision and order. Compare any two and see what changed.
- Rev A against Rev B, side by side
- Swapped parts shown as “U3: AMS1117 → AP2112K”
- “Changes since the last build” on every board
Live prices and stock from LCSC, DigiKey and TME
Search distributor catalogs by category and real specifications, and see current stock and price breaks next to every part.
- LCSC works without setup; DigiKey and TME with your own free API keys
- Parametric filters with min/max ranges
- Prices in USD or EUR at the ECB rate
Orders that know your stock
Say how many of each board you're building. The draft order subtracts what you already have, rounds up to minimum quantities and price breaks, and exports the cart.
- Any mix of boards, across projects
- Compare suppliers before you order
- Received orders are added to your stock
Builds and stock you can trust
Record the boards you assembled and the parts they used come out of stock, together with parts that were defective or broke.
- Undo a build to put its parts back
- Write off lost or damaged parts with a reason
- A stock history for every part
Import and export
Bring in the BOMs you already have, and send them to your assembler in the format it expects.
- KiCad, JLCPCB and any CSV or Excel BOM with a header row
- Columns detected automatically, duplicate designators flagged
- Export per board, for JLCPCB, or as a purchasing list
Made for teams
Invite colleagues to a workspace, so everyone works on the same BOMs instead of copies.
- Roles and invitations
- English, Bulgarian and German
- Light and dark mode
More about BOM Manager
- BOM manager vs spreadsheet Why spreadsheets break for multi-board electronics projects, and how a BOM manager fixes duplicate parts, revision drift, stale prices, order quantities and stock.
- Import a KiCad BOM How to import a KiCad, JLCPCB or spreadsheet BOM into BOM Manager: automatic column detection, matching parts by LCSC number or MPN, and exporting back to JLCPCB's assembly format.
